If you happen to be one of these people, then you will want to keep reading this piece, as we discuss the methods to use in order to get a Playstation 4 controller up and running on your PC or laptop. While most wired Xbox 360s and Xbox Ones are easy to plug and play on PC, with the two consoles being made by Microsoft, some people prefer the setup of the Playstation controller. Games such as the Elder Scrolls and the Counter Strike series just feel more natural with the use of mice for aiming and keyboard hotkeys. As much as I like the new Alpine pad, I think it’s about time Sony step up its controller innovation game. Most of the PC population can tell you the benefits of using a keyboard and mouse to play games. By comparison, it feels like Sony just uses a paint-by-number online editor at this point. The recently unveiled Phantom White Special Edition is significantly more creative, if nothing else. At first it was fun, and then it got underwhelming and now Microsoft is just leaving Sony in the dust. Contrasting nicely with the stark white backside, the new green shade might not be for everyone but it is certainly more attractive than some of the options out there, if you ask me. Scheduled for release next month, Sony’s latest DualShock colorway features a vibrant Alpine green treatment.

Just after that we saw the awesome Spider-Man special Edition bundle with the matching gamepad and now it’s time for the Alpine Green PS4 controller. We saw our first glimpse of the Metallic Copper, Blue Camo, Sunset Orange and Berry Blue models. The last major DualShock 4 unveil hit last August.
